Adding & Managing Products

Create a simple product

1. Go to Products → Add product.
2. Fill in Title, Handle (URL slug, auto-generated), and Description.
3. Upload one or more images. The first image becomes the thumbnail.
4. Set Price per region. If you only have one region, you only set one price.
5. Set Inventory quantity. Toggle Track inventory if you want stock to decrement on each sale.
6. Click Publish. The product appears immediately on the storefront.

Variant products (size, color, etc.)

When a product comes in multiple sizes or colors:

1. In the product editor, scroll to Variants.
2. Click Add option — name it (e.g. Size) and list values (S, M, L).
3. Click Generate variants. CarphaCom creates one variant per combination.
4. For each variant, set its own price and stock count.

Categories

Categories give your storefront its navigation. Create them in Categories:

• Categories can be nested (e.g. Clothing → Shirts → T-shirts).
• Each product can belong to multiple categories.
• The storefront menu reads directly from this tree.

Bulk import

For large catalogs, use Products → Import CSV. The CSV format is documented inline — download the sample, fill it, upload. Imports run in the background and you'll see progress on the page.

SEO

Each product has SEO fields: meta title, meta description, OpenGraph image. If you install the SEO Essentials plugin from the marketplace, you also get JSON-LD product schema and auto-sitemap generation.

Tips

• Use clear, short titles. Long titles wrap awkwardly in cart drawers.
• Image dimensions should be at least 1000×1000 px for retina screens.
• Always set Track inventory unless you sell digital products with infinite supply.
